Llançà
Llançà is a small fishing village in the north of the Costa Brava, near the border with France. Known for its wild coastline with nice little coves and beaches surrounded by unique natural areas: Cap de Creus and the Albera; along with its rich heritage, make it the ideal place to spend your holidays either with your family, partner or friends.
The village offers all necessary services: health centre, transportation, weekly market, supermarkets and small shops, a large variety of restaurants, water sports and a cultural calendar full of activities and local festivities.
Our town offers from a great selection of beaches and quiet coves, to great historical prehistoric and pre-Romanesque heritage. It also offers a wide variety of cultural and sporting activities, such as festivals throughout the year and houses an important watercolour museum. This entire range is complemented by the marina, with a sailing club, located in a natural harbour. The harbour is joined to the “Castellar” promontory, an indispensable figure in Llançà’s seascape, with more than 7 km of coastline. We recommend going to see the daily arrival of fishing boats along our coasts, and buying souvenirs and fish in the small shops around the harbour.
